ABOUT US

The Ankeny Community Chorus

was established in 2001 by founding

president Bill Konnath and music

director Steve Carstensen to establish

a choral group for the community. 

It has grown into a high-quality

choral group with several

performances each year.

Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7:30 PM at the Ankeny Presbyterian Church. We operate as a non-profit chorus and are open to people willing to make a personal commitment to quality musicianship.

  • May 26th, 2025 (Memorial Day) at Camp Dodge at 7 am 

  • November 14th, 2025 at Lutheran Church of Hope at 7:30 pm

The 60 + members of the Ankeny Community Chorus, under the direction of Everett Reed and accompanied by Terry Waltersdorf, provide a number of concerts throughout the year.
